Arkoma is an oil and gas company founded in 1983 and based in Rockwall, Texas. The firm originated as an exploration business focused on the Arkoma Basin in Southeastern Oklahoma, with founder Mark S. Kelldorf bringing extensive experience as a petroleum geologist. In 1985, Arkoma expanded into a private mineral acquisition program that targets minerals, royalties, and working interests in the Mid-Continent region, employing a high-grade methodology to pursue selective investments. The company serves institutional clients and risk-averse investors by providing access to mineral and royalty opportunities underpinned by its historical production data, geological studies, and reserve estimates for fields where it has acquired interests. Arkoma positions itself within the oil and gas industry as a specialist in minerals and royalties, leveraging proprietary technical information to identify opportunities and manage risk for its investors and partners.
