Army Ranger Lead The Way Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Garden City, New York, that raises funds to support U.S. Army Rangers and the families of Rangers who have died, been disabled, or are currently serving in harm's way around the world. The organization was established in honor of Sgt. James J. Regan, who served with Charlie Company, 3d Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment and was killed in Baqubah, Iraq, on February 9, 2009, at the age of 26. To provide services beyond those offered by government and VA channels, it runs Wounded Ranger Assistance Programs and partners with the United States Special Operations Care Coalition and Unit Command.
