We are an independent commercial production company with a focus in theatre, but without limitations on any medium of the entertainment industry. About the Founder: Kent Arneson began his professional career in his home town of Houston as the Stage Carpenter at the Alley Theatre. Since then he has toured all over the world, traveling to more than 75 cities throughout 15 countries with large scale productions including bands such as Metallica, Bon Jovi, Pearl Jam, Linkin Park, and many more. Most recently he returned from a five month tour with the 2001 Tony Award winning production of Blast. Around Houston he has been the lighting designer for Main Street Theater’s Design for Living, A Busy World is Hushed, and Third; and Theatre Lab’s Diva. He was also the set designer for Unhinged Productions’ Burn This. He has lived and worked professionally in the UK where he was inspired to return to the United States and form his own production company. Kent returned to the United States in July of 2005 and began the process of forming Arneson Productions LLC. In October of 2006 Arneson Productions LLC was officially formed and its debut production, Side Show, opened 9 months later following a successful trial concert version earlier that year. With a pre-opening write up in the Houston Chronicle, a glowing review following opening night, and word of mouth spreading quickly, Side Show became a great success playing to full houses its final weekend. “This promising inaugural effort suggests Arneson's company could carve a niche in Houston's theater scene.” –Houston Chronicle’s Ultimate Houston Guide
