Art E Gernt Insurance is a family-owned independent insurance company.   Our friendly and helpful staff has the best interest of our clients at heart, and offer insurance products through carefully selected insurance companies.  

Gernt Insurance was founded by Art Gernt in Jamestown in 1980 and in Crossville in 1981.  Art Sr was a claims adjuster for companies such as Travelers, General Accident, and Continental Insurance.  

Art E Gernt, II joined the agency in 1991 and Tom Gernt joined in 2003.  

Gernt insurance has been serving Crossville, Tennessee and the surrounding retirement communities for over 30 years now.  We are pround to have relationships with some of the finest insurance companies in Tennessee such as State Auto Insurance Company, Grange Mutual Casualty Companies, The Hartford, Penn National, Celina Insurance, Progressive and many more.  

Gernt Insurance is a member of the PIA of Tennessee and the Insurors of Tennessee.  In 2011, Gernt Insurance joined the Keystone Insurers Group as a Pioneer Partner in Tennessee.
