Art-Reach is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit in the civic and social sector focused on expanding accessible opportunities in the arts for people with disabilities and for individuals from low-income communities. It collaborates with museums, theatres, and other cultural organizations to broaden participation and help Philadelphia become a national model for cultural accessibility. Founded in 1986, Art-Reach emerged to bridge the gap between the disability community and the cultural sector by making participation in performances and arts venues more accessible. In 2014, it launched ACCESS Admission, a city-wide program that allows low-income residents to attend area museums for $2 per person. Today, it works with 205 Member Agencies and 221 Arts Partners in the Greater Philadelphia area to create more than 160,000 culturally accessible opportunities annually. In 2024, Art-Reach introduced NOTABLE, supported by the Pennsylvania Council for the Arts.
