Art Sanctuary is a Louisville-based community arts collective founded in 2004, grounded in the view that life can be expressed through art. It supports local artists by providing opportunities to promote, exhibit, perform, or create work, focusing especially on those who cannot access traditional exhibition or performance spaces due to financial or other barriers. As part of the performing arts sector, the organization seeks to strengthen Louisville's arts scene by connecting artists with audiences and contributing to the region's cultural fabric. In late 2024, Art Sanctuary partnered with the Salar Jung Museum in Hyderabad for a week-long exhibition highlighting neurodivergent Indian artists, illustrating a notable cross-cultural collaboration.
