Artists Repertory Theatre is a mid-sized regional theatre company based in Portland, Oregon, focused on producing intimate and provocative plays that create a space for artists and audiences to take creative risks. Founded in 1982, ART is the longest-running professional theatre company in the city. The company sits within the professional theatre landscape through its membership in the League of Resident Theatres since 2016 and as an Associate Member of the National New Play Network. In 2023, ART expanded its footprint by partnering with Portland Center Stage to take productions on tour while its building underwent renovations. The organization is led by Dámaso Rodríguez, who serves as Artistic Director and Interim Managing Director.
