In October of 2014 MaternOhio Management Services became Ascent Medical Management, Inc. 

Ascent Medical Management, Inc. (Ascent) is a Physician Service Organization (PSO), which offers management services to obstetrics and gynecologic physician practices allowing the physicians to remain independent while directing their focus on patient care. 

The overriding corporate objectives are: 

     •  To provide management services to health care providers
     •  To improve the financial standing of the physician members 
     •  To increase practice efficiencies and effectiveness
