Our Mission: To celebrate the diversity of human experiences through the art of independent film by enriching, educating, and inspiring all audiences.

For over two decades, the Ashland Independent Film Festival (AIFF) has brought audiences and filmmakers together to celebrate the power of story. We believe independent film is more than entertainment - it’s a catalyst for conversation, reflection, and change.

From our home in beautiful Southern Oregon, the Ashland Independent Film Festival has grown into a cornerstone of cultural life in the region, known for intimate screenings, engaging talkbacks, and a strong sense of community. Each year, we present a carefully curated program of narratives, documentaries, and shorts - alongside forums, panels, annual programs, and educational events that connect artists and audiences in meaningful ways.
