National Expansion Ashley McGraw Architects expanded its national practice in early childhood education by acquiring studioMLA Architects, signaling readiness to engage clients beyond its prior regional footprint and offering growth opportunities in new markets such as the Mid-Atlantic and national educational facilities.

Education Focus The firm emphasizes early childhood education studio work and has a national practice centered on this specialty, presenting a strong value proposition for school districts, early learning campuses, and government education programs seeking child-centered, compliant design solutions.

Expanded Talent With 80 nationwide staff including licensed architects, interior designers, ALEP professionals, and high-performance designers, there is capacity to take on larger or multiple concurrent K-12 or early education projects and offer integrated design services.

Digital Footprint The use of versatile platforms (Revit, Squarespace, WordPress, Commerce, and other tools) indicates modern BIM capabilities and online marketing channels, suggesting opportunities to offer design collaboration, virtual showcases, and digital client engagement for scalable outreach.

Financial Scale Revenue in the multi-million range with a lean 2-10 employee core in the studio and broader national reach implies potential for multi-site educational facility projects, partnerships with school systems, and pursuit of larger RFPs or public sector opportunities where scale and experience matter.
