The Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum (APIAHF) is a health justice nonprofit headquartered in Washington, DC, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of more than 23 million Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders in the United States and its jurisdictions. It centers its work on the belief that people have the right to be healthy, to live in thriving communities, and to access quality, affordable healthcare. The organization operates on three core values: respect for identity and dignity, fairness in how people are treated and participate in decision-making, and equity in power, opportunities, and resources for vulnerable communities. APIAHF's mission is to influence policy, mobilize communities, and strengthen programs and organizations to improve health outcomes for Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. A recent development is its Thrive360 partnership with Asian Counseling & Referral Service to connect trusted community-based care with national policy and advocacy to advance health equity for AAPI and Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities.
