The Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) is a professional body for treasurers and related roles in the United Kingdom and internationally, operating in the professional training and coaching sector. It was established in the 1970s as one of the first treasury bodies and is the only treasury association to hold a Royal Charter. The organization is based in London at 51 Moorgate, London, EC2R 6BH, United Kingdom, and has between 51 and 200 employees. Its mission centers on educating treasurers through a competency framework, training and qualifications, continuous professional development and events, and on supporting members with networks, content, insights, and opportunities for volunteering across career stages. ACT aims to influence policy and regulation to reflect the needs of the corporate world and the real economy. The ACT maintains a website at treasurers.org and is involved in partnerships and publications, such as collaborations with TreasurySpring and other organisations on surveys and treasury guides.
