Astral Artists is a service organization for exceptionally talented emerging classical musicians who have the potential to make important contributions to the field. Astral provides artists with a pathway to sustainable and affirming creative careers, while populating the field of classical music with extraordinary artistic and community leaders.
 
Based in Philadelphia, Astral presents its roster of musicians in its Philadelphia Concert Series, Concerts For Kids programs, and a salon concert series, reaching thousands of community members annually through these concert performances and Education & Community Engagement programs. Acceptance onto Astral’s roster of 25 instrumentalists and vocalists is awarded after a competitive national audition process. They are then provided, free of charge, with building blocks for their careers: professional guidance; superior performance opportunities; concert bookings; intensive community engagement experiences; entrepreneurial and marketing consultation; project incubation; and new music commissions.
