ATEQ USA designs, manufactures, and services leak testing instruments used across medical devices, industrial equipment, automotive parts, and packaging. The instruments are described as high-quality, fast, accurate, compact, and customizable, supporting rapid production cycles while minimizing waste. The company traces its roots to the original ATEQ Leak Testing division, founded in 1975 by Jacques Mouchet to replace traditional leak detection with computerized dry-air testers that are automated, calibrated, and aligned with international quality standards, capable of detecting leaks from very small to large.

Headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, the company serves a global customer base and operates through a network of subsidiaries and local representatives. Its client roster includes leading multinational brands such as Toyota, GM, Baxter, Sony, and HP, and it has sold hundreds of thousands of leak and flow test instruments in over 40 countries. The organization maintains a substantial international footprint with 27 wholly owned ATEQ subsidiaries and 12 specialized local representatives, and it announced the Smoketeq UV leak detection product in January 2024.
