Our impact goes beyond business and operational resilience. According to the latest IOBE study, Athens airport contributes 3.8% of Greece’s GDP, supports 214,000 jobs, and generates €2.7 billion in public revenue—driving value for the national, regional, and local economy.
On 07.02.2024, our shares were listed on the Main Market of the Athens Stock Exchange, marking an important milestone in our corporate journey.
Sustainability is at the heart of our mission. In December 2025, we achieved net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by completing our ROUTE 2025 program – 25 years ahead of the aviation sector’s target – through self-production, storage, and consumption of renewable energy produced on-site.
Looking ahead, the Airport Expansion Plan (2024–2032) is expected to transform our facilities and infrastructure, increasing capacity to over 40 million passengers on an annual basis.
