Atlantic Legal Foundation is a national, nonprofit, nonpartisan public-interest law firm founded in 1977 and based in Harrison, New York. It seeks to strengthen the rule of law and civil justice by advocating for individual liberty, free enterprise, property rights, limited and efficient government, the use of sound science in judicial and regulatory proceedings, and school choice. The organization advances its mission by participating as amicus curiae in carefully selected appeals before the Supreme Court, federal courts of appeals, and state supreme courts. 
 
 Guidance comes from a distinguished roster of legal scholars, corporate officers, private practitioners, business executives, and scientists who serve on its Board of Directors and Advisory Council. In April 2025, the foundation announced a partnership with the Americans for Prosperity Foundation. Active engagement in public-interest legal work and occasional high-profile events have characterized its recent activities.
