Atlas Scholars is a nonprofit program that supports high school students through mentorship, scholarships, and exposure to professional environments that are performance-based. It targets students who can benefit from guided mentorship and access to opportunities beyond what they would typically encounter. By connecting participants with mentors and providing scholarship support, the organization seeks to broaden their exposure to professional settings and real-world experiences. The program is based in Houston, Texas, and operates within the nonprofit sector to advance youth development. With a relatively small staff, Atlas Scholars concentrates its work locally from its Houston base. In May 2024, the organization announced the appointment of Kamari Brewer as Executive Director, marking a recent leadership transition.
