AURORA is a Dallas-based public arts organization that sits at the crossroads of art, technology, and community. Its program slate includes a flagship biennial exhibition and year-round initiatives designed to engage regional and international audiences, with the aim of elevating Dallas as a global hub for art and technology. The group prioritizes artists who push the boundaries of art and technology, enabling works that reflect current events and offer fresh perspectives. Founded in 2010 by Shane Pennington, Joshua King, and Veletta Forsythe Lill, it has grown from a single, one-night event into a multifaceted platform for public art experiences. In 2023, AURORA partnered with Downtown Dallas, Inc. to present Video Art Nights, a program that merges art, technology, and public spaces.
