Austin Architects, founded by Jonathan Austin in 1998, strives to work with clients who value their environment and demand a lot of it, and of us, in the process. We are an eight person firm located in Cambridge, MA providing a broad range of services including architecture, planning / programming, historic preservation and interior design.  Austin Architects has a regional focus – we have worked primarily in all of the New England states and New York – and has a diverse range of clients; academic and civic institutions, corporate and non-profit groups, and private individuals. Our projects involve new construction, renovation, and preservation, and often all three simultaneously. 

Austin Architects' portfolio is intentionally varied, reflecting the unique needs and aspirations of our clients. Our experience is deep and our approach is highly personal. We tend to work on a small number of projects at a time so that we may approach projects with the rigor necessary to create masterful outcomes. It is an honor that so many of our clients return to us for subsequent engagements.
