The Mission of Avenues Counseling is to provide Mental Health counseling to all who have need, regardless of their ability to pay. Avenues Counseling is a nonprofit counseling center located centrally in the St. Louis area. Our professionally trained counselors provide several areas of specialization, offering individual and group services to couples, families, and youth in the St. Louis community. We provide mental health counseling services for anxiety, depression, sex addiction, eating disorders, divorce care, grief/loss, premarital and couples, parenting, relational difficulties, trauma and abuse, and personality disorders. Our current group is called Back Together, which is designed for couples who have experienced sexual trauma and betrayal within their relationship. This group teaches couples how to rebuild safety, trust, and intimacy into their relationship. For those clients who cannot afford our full fees, we offer a sliding scale fee to enable them to still receive the services they need. We also offer all full-time college students and those in ministry financial discounts.
