Axia Spirit is a small beverage manufacturer based in London, United Kingdom, that distills an extra-dry Mediterranean spirit from the aromatic resin of the Mastiha tree native to Chios, Greece. The product leverages traditional Mastiha-making techniques reinterpreted for contemporary palates, offering a botanical profile that is described as distinctive yet approachable for cocktails or sipping neat. The company targets customers seeking culturally rich, vibrant experiences and a non-traditional spirit that can serve as both a cocktail ingredient and a standalone drink. In its industry, Axia positions itself within the artisanal or specialty spirits segment, emphasizing a unique resin-based foundation rather than conventional grain- or fruit-derived bases. Founded and operating in London, Axia has pursued collaborations and events to broaden exposure, including partnerships and launches reported in 2023 and 2025. Recent activity highlights include a collaboration with Beverage World to create a discovery-focused stand and a Frieze Party partnership with Unit Gallery in London’s Chelsea district.
