Donohue & Associates, Inc. has acquired Ken Herceg & Associates, Inc. of South Bend, Indiana as part of its strategic plan to expand Donohue's services and increase the firm’s presence in northwest Indiana. The newly merged firms are complementary and provide a strong set of engineering services focused on water, wastewater, and wet weather engineering as well as transportation and architectural services.

“This unique partnership combines Donohue & Associates’ multidisciplinary water services with Ken Herceg & Associates’ noted geographic presence in northwestern Indiana and the South Bend area in particular,” explained Craig Brunner, president of Donohue & Associates. “It also allows us to offer new resources and services to our clients throughout the Midwest such as architectural planning and design with LEED certified staff,”

Headquartered in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Donohue & Associates, Inc. provides engineering solutions focused on water, wastewater, stormwater and transportation services. Eleven offices are located in Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota, and Wisconsin with projects throughout the Midwest.

Ken Herceg & Associates was founded by Ken Herceg in 1984 in South Bend and since then has provided a range of civil engineering and architectural services to both public and private sector clients. Herceg & Associates has received many awards, including ENR Midwest’s 2012 Best Transportation Project for the South Bend Regional Airport Concourse A Expansion.
