AZGARD NINE LTD group was started as a family business over four generations ago. The 'Shaikh' family - now in its fourth generation - is one of the oldest business families in the sub-continent with experience in many different sectors in Pakistan and having a proven track record of successful leadership in four continents. Although the family began its first operation in 1886 in Shamkot, in the Asian sub-continent but its formal industrialized operations in the area of 'Yarn Manufacturing' was started in 1972.

The current specialized yarn operation was set up in 1972 with the Open-End Spinning and Denim Weaving operations following in 1995. The final frontier was the Retail-Ready Made Garments operations which came into being in 1997.

The concept behind the Group's Textiles ambitions was to be a fully vertical composite apparel solution provider based in a country that would be able to maintain its competitive advantage in this field for the years to come. To keep ahead of the global competition, AZGARD NINE LTD has 'Italian Technology Partners', the shortest lead time to supply any Denim product and quick replenishment of product to the European markets from company's warehouse facility in Istanbul, Turkey.
