The BACS Riyadh Metro Project operates as a construction contractor and system integrator for Riyadh's Lines 1 and 2, forming part of a six-line metro network that will span roughly 176 kilometers and include 85 stations. Its scope encompasses detailed structural, architectural, and transit-system design, along with construction, testing, commissioning, and procurement of all materials needed to support the project. The consortium bears full responsibility for the design and integration of both transit systems and civil infrastructure, including manufacturing, furnishing, installing, testing, and commissioning components aligned with the Employers Requirements. Line 1 will stretch about 38 kilometers north-south through central Riyadh along the Olaya-Batha corridor, with 22 stations and four transfer stations, and much of the route will be underground. Line 2 will run east-west along King Abdullah Road, will be built mostly at grade over 15 kilometers with some elevated sections, and will extend more than 25 kilometers with 13 stations and three transfer stations.
