Established in the 1800’s and situated in the Western Mountains of Maine on Mooselookmeguntic Lake, Bald Mountain Camps Resort offers a variety of fishing and family vacation possibilities.

Bald Mountain Camps is a perfect escape from your normal everyday routine. The Philbrick Family is a second generation owner, carrying on a family tradition of providing you with the services that will make your stay a most pleasant and enjoyable one.

Bald Mountain Camps has 14 log cabins which can accommodate 2-8 people comfortably.  Each cabin offers a private porch, fireplace, private bath, spacious living room, individual bedrooms, full maid service, and a porter to help you with your bags. 

Our dining room has a westerly view across the waters of Mooselookmeguntic Lake which offers the most beautiful sunsets and a relaxed environment that anyone could ever hope for. 

Our cuisine ranges from traditional New England cookouts, special catered events, fine dining and special dietary requirements. We enjoy an excellent reputation for our selections, our presentation, and our quality of service. Our seafood is fresh from the Maine coast and we also offer vegetarian dishes. 

Every Friday we offer our traditional cook out on our picnic grounds. Enjoy lobster, barbequed baby-back ribs, hamburgers and hot dogs, under our large tent. 

Let Bald Mountain Camps cater your special function from a wedding reception to a family reunion. Catering both on and off premises is available for family outings, business meetings, or just a cook out on the island. both on and off premises. We create each menu based on your function and your needs. We can cater something as small as a cocktail party with friends all the up to a large wedding or family reunion.
