The Baldwin County School District is a public education administration district serving the Milledgeville-Baldwin communities of Central Georgia. It comprises six schools and three specialized programs, educating more than 5,200 students in the county. The district is based in Milledgeville, Georgia. In early 2024, BCSD launched its Grow Your Own teacher program to help address local teacher shortages, later expanding the effort through a partnership with the FVSU Foundation. The district has pursued nutritional education initiatives, earning the Innovation in Nutrition Education Award in 2025. In 2025 the district also appointed Dr. Rodney Tyson as deputy superintendent, reflecting ongoing leadership development within the district.
