Ballarat is one of Australia’s largest inland cities and the third largest city in Victoria. Money flowed into Ballarat with the discovery of gold in the mid-19th Century. Today the city is renowned for its beautiful parks, broad tree-lined streetscapes, cultivated European gardens, and heritage architecture of national significance and international interest.
