Ballet For All Kids is a truly unique all-inclusive dance program. Our doors are open and expanding across the country to anyone who wants to dance, regardless of abilities or disabilities. We are a non-profit studio that makes classical ballet and various other dance styles accessible using The Schlachte Method - a certified curriculum developed to accommodate any learning style. 

The Schlachte Method was developed to assist all children, regardless of their abilities or disabilities, learn and reap the benefits of a classical ballet education. This method believes that every child has access points that can be used as a springboard for learning new skills. Therefore, the methodology uses a wide variety of teaching styles to accommodate all modes of learning and to strengthen each skill set. The method also utilizes trained volunteer mentors who work with each student in class to help them stay focused and achieve their individual goals, which proves to be the key to success in learning and in building self confidence. 

We know that every child has abilities that can be used as a springboard to learn new skills and enhance a personal sense of accomplishment. Our method is proven successful in teaching children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning and/or Intellectual Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, Anxiety Disorders, Physical Disabilities, ADHD, behavioral issues, and children who are blind, Deaf, or non-ambulatory. Our classes are also great for typical students seeking a fun and relaxed ballet environment. 

Many children cannot succeed in a traditional class setting and are thus excluded from the numerous benefits that dance classes can offer: self-confidence, friendships, discipline, motor planning, concentration, proprioceptive skills, social skills, strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, musicality, emotional intelligence and more. Ballet For All Kids welcomes everyone to experience the joys of dance!
