Airlines and AviationStockholm, Sweden51-200 Employees

Bromma Air Maintenance AB operates in the Airlines and Aviation sector from Bromma in the Stockholm region of Sweden. The company traces its roots to 1979, when founder Ingemar Björk acquired Flygfirma I. Ehrenström, the Swedish agency for Gulfstream, Aero Commander and Fairchild. Its early work focused on maintaining light business jets, notably Cessna Citations and Learjets.

A notable development in its history occurred in 2000 when a group of employees purchased the company from the former owner, with Egert Lönn named General Manager. Today BAM is a mid-sized maintenance and operations organization with a workshop, design and production capability, a flight test department and specialized operations for airport ILS calibration; since 2018 it has owned ST airborne systems to develop maritime surveillance solutions for multiple aircraft types.
