BANaHAN was established in 1986 as an early proponent of utilizing marketing research and consumer-directed advertising to educate targeted communities about high quality healthcare services, which then incorporated digital advertising, web search optimization and award-winning population management programs including the One2One diabetes initiative. 

BANaHAN forged a niche in multicultural healthcare marketing with clients such as CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital and Medical Center, in Los Angeles, and Mount Sinai Hospital, in NY City. BANaHAN developed and led advertising, public relations and business development campaigns targeting the Korean, Armenian, Hispanic, Filipino, Russian, Chinese, Polish and Indian communities. Use of medical illustrations simplified the educational collateral and built a bond between the programs and communities, each institution served.
