The Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in Leeds, Alabama, preserves the history of racing, motorcycle design, and the practical aspects of motorsports. Founded in 1988 as a private collection, it now operates as a 501(c)(3) foundation on the grounds of Barber Motorsports Park. The museum’s facility is noted for its architecture, designed to evoke the energy and character of motorsport. The collection includes more than 1,800 motorcycles spanning over a century, with more than 1,000 bikes visible to visitors on a typical day and representation from 200 manufacturers across 20 countries. The museum also houses the world’s largest motorcycle collection and the most extensive Lotus car collection, and it hosts the Barber Advanced Design Center to pursue leadership in motorsports and industrial design.
