Barker Black Limited is a men's exclusive shoe and accessory collection designed with luxury, aesthetics, and attitude in mind.  Harnessing 125 years of Northampton shoemaking expertise and injecting a dose of contemporary design is what makes Barker Black Ltd. so unique. 

The premiere collection is inspired by an ancient regiment of British guardsmen; the 17th Lancers. The regiment’s logo, a skull and crossbones, was modified and adopted by Barker Black because it captures the spirit, energy, and sophistication of its modern collection. Astutely incorporated into the design of the shoes, the skull and bones is punched into the broguing on the toe; silver “bones” are attached to loafers to update a classic, and to finish off, 139 tacks are driven into the waist of each shoe by hand.

The modern sensibility is found not only in the shape of the shoe, but also in its details. Subtle, sophisticated details that make the wearer feel unique are so well incorporated into the design of the collection; they would be difficult for others to notice.
