Barnes-Kasson County Hospital is a nonprofit, critical access hospital located in Susquehanna Depot, Pennsylvania, serving residents of Susquehanna County and parts of northern Wayne County and southern Broome County. The organization has operated since 1904 to provide local medical care and supports a rural health network that includes three Rural Health Clinics and a county-based home health service. This setup aims to improve access to care in a rural area and offers care in a home-town, community setting. The hospital provides a broad range of medical, surgical, diagnostic and referral services, along with cardiac and intensive care, outpatient rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, and a 58-bed skilled-nursing facility. It also serves as an information and education resource for Susquehanna County. In 2017, Barnes-Kasson contracted American HealthTech to supply comprehensive electronic health records for its skilled-nursing facility.
