Barnsley College is a large tertiary college serving Barnsley and the surrounding areas. The College has three brands - Barnsley College, Barnsley Sixth Form College and Barnsley College Higher Education. 

Offering vocational courses, A Levels, Apprenticeships, T Levels, Higher Education and part-time courses, the College has more than 9,000 students and over 700 staff. Barnsley College was recognised as Outstanding by Ofsted in its inspection in March 2022.
