Here at Base Wood Fired Pizza our mission is simple: Uncompromising Quality! That’s what our founder Shane Crilly was looking for when he founded Base. The pursuit of the perfect pizza begun when Shane embarked on a journey to the birthplace of pizza, Naples, in Southern Italy. After learning the art of making a real pizza alongside local Italian cooks, Shane returned to Dublin and set out to improve the standard of pizza in Dublin and to create a pizza that is to inspire healthier choices by offering people real food.  

We want to do one thing, Make great pizza. Influenced by traditional Neapolitan cooking methods and inspired by modern flavours we aim to provide our customers with a superior pizza experience. Providing exceptionally tasty food with freshly made seasonal menu and an efficient, professional and hospitable service. 

We will continuously endeavour to exceed our customers’ expectations in food and service and be leaders of the gourmet pizzerias in Ireland. 

We believe the choices we make about what pizza we eat, where it comes from and how it is prepared have a direct impact on our general well-being. Each of us benefit from making smarter decisions about what’s in our food.
