Basler Electric Company designs and manufactures electrical power control equipment, including excitation systems, voltage regulators, genset controls, protective relays, and custom transformers. Through its Basler Services subsidiary, it also provides turnkey engineering services. Founded in 1942, the company is headquartered in Highland, Illinois, and operates additional locations in Taylor, Texas; Littleton, Colorado; Piedras Negras, Mexico; and Suzhou, China. In 2025 Basler Electric was acquired by Littelfuse, a global industrial technology company, and now operates as part of Littelfuse to serve global energy and industrial infrastructure markets.
