Allan and Bo met in 2016, with a mutual desire to find a vocation in which they could exercise creative freedom while utilising the array of skills they acquired from their backgrounds in the bespoke shoemaking, technology and finance industries. Their combined rigour, precision and attention to detail juxtaposes with a creative disposition to develop a brand intricate in craftsmanship, at the service of simplified designs and execution.

With a style that originates in a Parisian sense of aesthetics, Baudoin & Lange, while operating out of London, maintains a European sensibility. Blending time-honoured tradition of English shoemaking with the nonchalant spirit of the French ; Baudoin & Lange footwear withstand the demands of modern life, while simultaneously promoting effortlessness, versatility and comfort.
Allan Baudoin and Bo van Langeveld are most often found in their London Atelier, reviving a former shoe factory building located a stone’s throw away from the famed Columbia Road. At the Baudoin & Lange Ateliers, with the purpose to preserve the age-old craft of shoemaking, knowledge is handed down from one generation of shoemakers to the next.

Their category-defining “Sagan” loafers are recognised by discerning connoisseurs worldwide, and are stocked in notable stores such as Harrods, Selfridges and Barneys. In a short span of time, they have achieved a cult following in the sartorial menswear sphere, notably in Asia and Japan, where they are widely stocked in store such as Beams, United Arrows and The Armoury.
