The Bay Area Acting Studio teaches the Meisner Technique of Acting, a world renowned technique practiced by TV & Film's very best actors. Meisner Trained actors include Shailene Woodley, Adam Driver, Chris Pine, Emmy Rossom, Sandra Bullock, Zach Efron, Anna Paquin, Rooney Mara, Lily Collins and Jack Nicholson.  

The legendary teacher Sanford Meisner developed a proven technique of training that effectively gets actors out of their heads and into their honest, genuine truth, making this the most effective technique for the camera.  The founder and owner of the Bay Area Acting Studio, Christy English, was privileged to be one of 22 hand-picked actors to study directly with the master himself in his private 2-year intensive, as well as to participate in his ongoing Master Class.
