Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership is a regional nonprofit that coordinates efforts to spur economic development and job growth in the Bay Area Houston area of southeast Texas. Using a collaborative committee structure, it engages more than 300 investor companies, business professionals, local governments, and educational institutions to advance prosperity and living standards for about 940,000 people who live and work in the region. Its membership spans 18 cities plus Galveston and Harris counties, and it actively markets the area to attract new businesses, as well as expansions and relocations. Headquartered in Houston, Texas, the organization positions itself as a member-driven convening body that aligns government, business, and educational stakeholders around regional economic initiatives. In 2024, BAHEP announced a collaboration with Advent GX to support the Space Alliance Technology Outreach Program by identifying candidates for the program.
