Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC Media) operates in the media production sector with a focus on video and broader storytelling. Based in San Francisco, California, it describes itself as an evolving coalition that brings together creators, activists, independent makers across various media, and everyday people who seek to influence change through narrative. The organization serves as a collaborative hub for diverse voices within the regional media landscape. In 2025, BAVC expanded its activities with a Membership and Programs Assistant to strengthen connections with members and support its public programs. That year it also formed a partnership with Vidiots Foundation to help preserve analog artifacts by transitioning them into the digital era. Additionally, it participated in industry events such as Sundance 2025 and hosted Latinx Filmmaking in the Bay Area as part of the 2025 Bay Area Media Maker Summit.
