The Bay Area Workforce Development Board (Bay Area WDB) is one of Wisconsin’s eleven regional Boards established by the Workforce Investment Opportunity Act (WIOA) to address economic workforce needs in Brown, Door, Florence, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano and Sheboygan counties.  

WIOA is designed to strengthen and improve our workforce and help get people – including those with significant barriers to employment – into high-quality careers and help employers hire and retain skilled workers.  Whether an individual is a student seeking career and education funding and support, an adult looking to up-skill or change career paths, or someone under or unhappily employed and looking to improve their circumstances, Bay Area WDB can and will assist you.
