We are a boutique law firm in Northern California that serves as trusted advisor to a small group of clients. We have offices in Marin, Napa, and Sonoma counties, and have been practicing law for 30+ years.

We provide advise and counsel to owners of small to medium-size businesses, and provide a full set of legal services to help businesses start, grow and prosper. We get involved at all stages of the life cycle of a business: the very beginning (formation of the new company), the middle (the growth phase), and the end (often a successful acquisition of the business by a larger company).

We are experts in certain fields: corporate law, intellectual property law, real property law, alcoholic beverage law, the emerging field of cannabis law, and international law. We have experience with agriculture, alcohol beverages, consumer products, high technology, international trade, planting breeding, and real estate development. This gives us a wide range of skills and expertise, and allows us to act as a one-stop shop for most of our client’s business issues. When necessary, we will recommend specialists in other areas of the law (litigation, advanced tax), and coordinate the work of the entire team for our clients.

By restricting the number of our clients, we are able to provide personalized services, and we know our clients and their businesses quite well. We have represented some of our first clients for more than 20 years.
