Beachum & Roeser was founded in 1976 by James C. Beachum Sr. and Richard A. Roeser childhood friends.  Both James and Richard had big company development experience before setting out on their own in 1976. Early on they developed affordable single family homes until 1980 when they transitioned into commercial real estate development. They built their first Colonial style commerical office building in Birmingham,MI  near the corner of Southfield and 14 Mile Roads. "Birmingham Terrace" is still thriving today and serves as an ideal location for neighborhood businesses. James and Richard went on to develop nearly one million square feet of timeless Williamsburg style offie buildings throughout the greater  Detroit suburban area. Build to suite and "spec" buildigs were common place during the 1980'sand early 1990's when a majority of their portfolio was established.
