Beacon Group is a nonprofit organization focused on expanding employment opportunities for people with disabilities. It provides training, development and access to real work, with the aim of helping individuals move from tax-supported assistance to productive employment. Its operations include manufacturing, filling, kitting and packaging, as well as document shredding and electrical assembly; it also runs offsite crews for groundskeeping, clerical work, assembly, automobile detailing, food service and custodial maintenance. Founded in 1952 and formed through the 2003 merger of Beacon Foundation and Tetra Corporation, Beacon Group is based in Tucson, Arizona. The organization serves more than 2,200 people with disabilities each year and has partnered with Amazon’s Alternative Workforce Supplier Program to provide opportunities in Phoenix area sortation and fulfillment centers; in 2026 it expanded its footprint by acquiring new office space in Avondale.
