Beauty Barrage supports beauty brands by providing an outsourced field force to drive retail performance through sales, events, and merchandising support. The model is described as turnkey and cost-effective, aiming to move products from shelves into customers’ hands by focusing on in-store sell-through rather than only obtaining shelf placement. Its offerings include national and regional sales coverage, customized training for store staff, in-store activations, merchandising and inventory oversight, and sales-plan alignment to maximize ROI. Headquartered in Newport Beach, California, Beauty Barrage operates a network of more than 400 beauty professionals serving more than 4,000 doors across the United States and Canada. The company is led by CEO Sonia Summers, whose career spans more than 20 years overseeing national sales teams for beauty brands. In December 2018, Heather Forcari joined Beauty Barrage as vice president of learning and development.
