Being:Art was founded by artists/teachers Anne Froning Wike and Sean Murphy.

Our mission is to reveal the art making process and create aesthetic works of art. We provide fusion art experiences in the form of performances, workshops, handcrafted instruments, classes, and residencies. Our work includes multidisciplinary art designed for site-specific environments.

We are consultants for the Dimensions Educational Research Foundation developing and teaching workshops. We sell outdoor musical instruments through Nature Explore, a joint effort of the Dimensions and National Arbor Day Foundations.

We are Artists-in-Residence at the Buckman Performing & Fine Arts Center at St. Mary’s School in Memphis, TN. We were the 2010-11 Louise T. Archer Artist-in-Residence at St. Mary's Episcopal School.
