Benet Academy is a private Catholic, college preparatory school founded in 1837 and located in Lisle, Illinois. Rooted in the Benedictine tradition, it serves students and families seeking a faith-based, college-preparatory education that develops leaders, critical thinkers, and faithful servants. The school emphasizes holistic education through four cornerstone programs: Academics, Faith & Service, Fine Arts, and Athletics, supported by dedicated faculty and staff. In recent developments, Benet announced a major facilities expansion including a 1,400-capacity grandstand, visitor bleachers, a press box, a turf football field, new track and field facilities, stadium lighting, and scoreboards, marking the first phase of a broader project. The school has also undergone leadership changes in recent years, with principal Sheri Costello appointed in 2024 and William Myers named president in 2023, reflecting ongoing governance evolution.
