Benton County Conservation is a county‑level environmental services organization based in Vinton, Iowa, that serves the residents of Benton County. It oversees 25 park lands totaling more than 1,700 acres, more than 40 miles of trails, and 225 campsites, along with a growing nature center and educational programming conducted in schools and the broader community, reaching over 7,000 educational contacts annually. The agency is governed by a five‑member Benton County Conservation Board appointed by the Board of Supervisors, a structure established by state law in the 1950s.

The organization aims to improve quality of life by offering recreational opportunities and educational experiences that foster stewardship of natural resources. Positioned within the environmental services sector, it provides public access to parks, trails, and campgrounds while delivering conservation education to residents and visitors. Recent developments include the Wildcat Bluff Addition Project announced in January 2024 and a 2023 partnership with the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation to add roughly 180 acres east of Wildcat Bluff.
