Berg Muirhead was founded 15 years ago on the foundation of a public relations legacy established by Bob Berg and Georgella Muirhead. The founding partners, Bob and Georgella, have 60 years combined experience working as top communications officers across the state. Berg Muirhead has grown upon this foundation into a team with associates who possess individual experience and collective expertise that makes us Michigan’s preeminent public relations and marketing firm. Berg Muirhead has a reputation as top-notch communications strategists, with a strong team of practitioners, who have diverse skill sets. While our firm is headquartered in New Center and deeply-rooted in the Detroit community, we have clients across the state with an international presence. We have been at the forefront of the communications for many of the region’s most notable happenings; from leading the communications efforts for the Detroit Institute of Arts’ successful tri-county millage campaign to serving as the communications team for the State of Michigan’s statewide school system, the Education Achievement Authority of Michigan. It is our goal as an agency to serve as partners with our clients, not just vendors. Two clients that signed on when we first opened our doors, Strategic Staffing Solutions, a global IT and business services firm, and Mackinac Island’s iconic Grand Hotel, are still with us today.
