Since 1942, the Berkeley Hills Volunteer Fire Company has proudly served Ross Township and neighboring communities as a fully volunteer-driven department. Operating as Station 247, our team of dedicated members responds to both fire suppression and medical emergencies, covering key residential neighborhoods as well as major commercial areas like the McKnight Road corridor and Ross Park Mall. As the largest volunteer fire department in Ross Township, Station 247 is committed to providing rapid, reliable emergency response, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Beyond emergency calls, we strengthen community safety by offering CPR and First Aid classes, empowering residents with lifesaving skills.
